| Dustin Pittman is an internationally renowed Celebrity, Portrait, Documentary & Fine Art Photographer/filmmaker and one of the key witnesses of international Pop Culture. He has photographed thousands of personalities from the world of fashion, art, theater, film and society. Dustin began documenting his friends and the NewYork Lifestyle when he was a teenager. As an intimate of the Warhol Factory, he met, and photographed the stars, absorbing Warhol's reportage aesthetic and creating a unique record of the era. His underground films featuring the Warhol Superstars: Jackie Curtis, Holly Woodlawn, Candy Darling and Taylor Mead are timeless. Dustin's portraits and fashion shoots have appeared for years worldwide in hundreds of prestigious publications from Vogue to Rolling Stone. He was the official top staff photographer during the late 70's and 80's for W magazine and it's spinoff, WWW. In the early 70's, Dustin pioneered the exculsive backstage photography scene that changed the look of fashion photography forever. His first front cover for LIFE Magazine featured Darryl Hannah in and out of the water to promote her movie "Splash". Dustin was privileged to photograph "the most expensive fashion photography shooting in history" working with over 80 of the top fashion models for a Calvin Klein fashion layout. Andy Warhol characterized Dustin as "one of the most creative photographers in the world". He has photographed everyone from Gloria Swanson to Nickie Minaj and witnessed the birth of Punk and Glam Rock in the clubs of London, Paris and New York. Dustin has roamed the streets of New York and around the world photographing and documenting historic iconic history.
